Terms & Conditions
[effective date not set]
These terms govern the use of Sqrint, an online ordering service for print and copy shops, operated by Sqrint Developers. By using the service you agree to them.
1. What Sqrint is — and what it is not
Sqrint is software that lets a print or copy shop take orders online. Each shop has its own ordering page, sets its own prices, and does its own printing.
We do not print anything, and we do not sell printing. When a customer places an order, the agreement to print it is between that customer and that shop. We provide the platform the order travels over. This distinction runs through everything below, and it is the reason most of the responsibilities here sit with the shop rather than with us.
2. Who these terms apply to
- Shops — businesses that subscribe to Sqrint to take orders.
- Customers — people who place a print order through a shop's ordering page.
Some sections apply to only one of the two. Where that is the case it says so.
3. Accounts (shops)
A shop account must be opened by someone authorised to act for that business, with accurate details. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by staff logins you create, and for keeping passwords to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been used without your permission.
4. Subscriptions and billing (shops)
Plans, prices and any free trial are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard. Subscriptions renew for the period stated on the plan until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period already paid for runs to its end and the shop keeps trading until then. Fees already paid are not refunded pro rata unless the law requires it.
We may change plan prices. Where we do, we will give notice before the change applies to your renewal, and you may cancel rather than accept it.
5. Payments for print orders
Money for a print order goes to the shop, not to us. Depending on how the shop is set up, a customer pays either into the shop's own UPI account or through the shop's own payment gateway account. We do not hold, process or take a share of that money, and we are not a party to it.
Where a shop confirms a UPI payment manually, that confirmation is the shop's own check that the money arrived. We report what the shop has recorded; we cannot verify a bank transfer on the shop's behalf.
6. Cancellations and refunds for print orders
Because the printing contract and the payment are both with the shop, cancellations, refunds and complaints about a print job are for the shop to resolve, under whatever policy that shop applies and under applicable consumer law. Contact the shop first. If you cannot reach a shop, tell us and we will try to put you in touch, but we cannot refund money we never received.
7. Your files
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give the shop, and us as the platform carrying it, permission to store, process and print that file strictly for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
By uploading a file you confirm you have the right to print it. Do not upload anything you are not entitled to copy.
Files are deleted once the order has been printed, and in any case after a short holding period. The status page for an order shows whether its files are still stored or already deleted. Deletion is a design commitment we intend to keep, not a guarantee against every possible failure — see section 11.
8. What may not be sent through Sqrint
Do not use the service to order, print, store or distribute:
- anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
- currency, official documents, certificates or identity documents you are not entitled to reproduce;
- material that is obscene, or that sexualises children;
- material that incites violence or hatred;
- malware, or files intended to damage or gain unauthorised access to systems.
Shops are responsible for what they choose to print. We do not review files before they reach a shop, and a shop may refuse any job.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Printing also depends on things outside our control — the shop's computer, its printer, its internet connection, its bank, and its payment provider. Maintenance and changes to features happen.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or whose subscription has gone unpaid. A shop may close its account at any time from its dashboard or by contacting us. On closure we delete stored files in the ordinary course; some records are kept where the law requires.
11. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for: a print job's quality, timing or outcome; money paid to a shop; a shop's conduct or a customer's conduct; loss of profits, business or data; or any indirect or consequential loss.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability to a shop is limited to the subscription fees that shop paid us in the three months before the claim; and to a customer, given that we receive no money from them, to the maximum the law requires.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Indemnity (shops)
A shop agrees to cover our reasonable losses arising from its own breach of these terms, its unlawful use of the service, or a claim brought by one of its customers about a job it printed.
13. Our intellectual property
Sqrint, its software, and its branding remain ours. A shop's own name, logo and content remain the shop's. Subscribing gives a shop the right to use the service, not to copy or resell it.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it; if you do not, stop using the service and, if you are a shop, cancel your subscription.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of [jurisdiction not set].
16. Grievance officer
In line with applicable Indian law, complaints about content or about the service can be raised with:
- Name — [grievance officer name not set]

We aim to acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within a month.
